Join RCC”s Washington, D.C’s chapter Thursday, July 13 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET for a virtual meeting of the DC chapter where we’ll hear from Georgia McKee, the manager of the Christians Against Christian Nationalism TikTok account. In less than 6 months, the account garnered more than 28,000 followers and more than 2 million impressions.
She’ll review the TikTok platform, share how it continues to change, and show how its engagement is unique among social media channels. She’ll also discuss how it’s constantly changing, driving creators to adjust to its algorithm. Plus, we’ll open up the meeting for discussion among members and friends to share tips, experiences, and advice.
If you’re brand new to TikTok, here’s a report from the BBC in 2021 about how religion is booming on TikTok. Come with your questions and experiences, and join us next week!
This session is open to all interested parties, so feel free to invite others who would benefit from the presentation and conversation. To RSVP and for Zoom information, email DC Chapter President Cherilyn Guy at ccrowe@BJConline.org
